In response to the existing staffing crisis in the care sector, the UK Government announced in February this year, thatthe immigration rules will be relaxed to allow the recruitment of care workers from overseas.
The Health & Care visa was introduced in August 2020 as a reaction to COVID, then following on from that and BREXIT; the careworkers were added to the Skilled Worker eligibility list in February 2022.
